1. First Day At Falner
You have just arrived at Falner Estate, a sprawling, beautiful, 400-hectare co-located space between Britain, Germany, and the Philippines, and the main base of Netsach. The flora and fauna in the area gives both a sense of familiarity as it looks at first glance like things you’ll find on Earth, and a weird sense of otherworldliness. Given the size of the place, the Estate is less of a compound and more like a town unto itself. The older buildings within the estate are gothic in their construction, and clear throwbacks to 19th Century Europe. The newer facilities, however, sport cutting edge contemporary designs that were clearly inspired by Fourth World architecture and technology.

2. A Day On The Job
You are pushing papers at Methuselah, doing research at the Arcanum, or going out on patrol -- whatever it is that you're doing, it's just another day for you as a Hunter of the Vigil.


3. Let's Head Down to Haven
Find yourself itching for a night out on the town? Why not head over to Haven, the classy nightclub that looks like a large, monolithic black building with no visible windows from the outside and the name of the club emblazoned in bold, white letters on one side.

Haven is located in Makati City, and is open to the public (especially the local supernatural community), but you might want to prepare yourself to wait in line for a very, very long time – unless you’re a Hunter, of course.

Falner’s Maenad Division holds office on top of Haven, as does Ordo Daywalker. Some of Haven’s staff also live above the night club.


4. The Awakening

[ He heard your name in passing from some of the people he's been touching base with down here.

Extending his hand now, because it's only right to treat you like a little adult worthy of respect from another human being. ]

[ She stares a little at that outstretched hand before she tentatively takes it in her own. Her grip is light and awkward, like she's afraid to squeeze too tight. ]

[ Oh look, your name starts with the same letter as hers. ]

[ Noting that down, although he's not sure what to make of it just yet. ]

What were you and Mitsuru up to before I interrupted you guys?

[ Man, the boss' cat sure is well taken care of... ]

I was just taking him out for a walk.

[ "Walk" being the operative word, since she was carrying him. She heard somewhere that to take care of animals one had to make sure to feed and walk them. ]

[ Because he sure as hell isn't. It's a very different power base from Tangaroa, and from Seigi. ]

[ No need to let him now that she is still getting used to the other means of transportation available. ]

She goes on with that for a while before she's noticing the mask.

Tilting her head now, brows furrowing because she's trying to figure out what... it is. ]

She's also glancing to the phone that's hanging by a lanyard around her neck, brows furrowing as she wonders briefly if her phone can do the same.

--Back to you though, and coming closer so that she can take a better look. ]

[ Aaaand pointing it out. ]

There. It's right beside this place -- [ Pointing. ] -- called Australia. I'm half-Maori, and that is where we Maori come from.

[lyall]

[ Nodding now as she glances back to you and sends a smile your way. It comes out tentative, but she's getting good at smiling these days.

A frown though. ] So you are visiting Falner?

[ Because you're new. And your 'home' is in a place that is far from here. ]

[huamo]

Oh, no. [ Shaking his head. ] This is home for me now. I just got transferred here.

[ And it looks like he was going to be around for a while, since the big pressing assignment they had for him was finding a new blade.

Not easy, that. ]

[lyall]

[ A-ah...! c: ]

[ Because Gisi is in Falner and so on and so forth etcetcetc.

Looking back at that mask in her hand now and smiling quietly before she gives it back. ]

It is a beautiful mask. [ Perhaps one day she will have one of her own. ]

It is, isn't it? Someone very dear to me made it a long time ago.

[ Keep on smiling, Lucas Pierce.

He's gone, and he isn't going to come back, and that is that.
