Truth be told, he and his family have been allies to the Wolf in the Philippines for a very long time. He used to be content with staying in the background and helping Estanislao Marisigan out with his so-called “real job” as a War Hound. And then his brother – one of the oni-tsukai who was slaughtered due to the Dovetailor’s influence – disappeared.
Now that there is nothing stopping Joseph from joining Zangyaku properly, the Deathspeaker is twiddling his thumbs and waiting on when the next initiation ceremony will be scheduled.
