The truth of the matter is, the original members of Wolf’s Choice entered the Methuselah for the sole purpose of infiltrating it, attempting to discover what the Voidseeker was truly up to, and finding a means of saving the Blade King from himself. What no one in Wolf’s Choice anticipated was that they’d end up getting attached, and seeing how complicated the so-called “Truth” really was. While Wolf’s Choice’s members are still working through their own bitterness over several betrayals, they aren’t about to turn their backs on the few good people they know in the Vigil.
The name of this blade was meant to be a derisive joke started by Wolf's Choice's trainers and perpetuated by the bullies in and beyond their batch. Many of their fellow Hunters in the Methuselah felt that their ideas were too "progressive", especially since they were open about their belief that it was the Methuselah that was being unjust to Zangyaku and the Blade King. David and the rest, however, carried the name proudly all the way until they left the Methuselah. They STILL take pride in it up to now, because it's an open show of their loyalty to the man who helped them get to where they are now.

Once one of the two blade leaders of Wolf’s Choice, David was on Jessiah Vice’s radar since day one due to the fact that he appears to have “inherited” Diurmund. Diurmund, we note, was one of the Persona of Minato Arisato, an operative of the Order of the Grateful Dead. His explorations of the Dark Hour provided Jessie with a valuable amount of information. The Hanged Man later showed his gratitude by taking David in after Wolf’s Choice defected. David is now building his father’s corporation up using his contacts and assets from Vice, all on the pretense of creating a separate company much like the Rhiannon Group or Owari Heavy Industries in the future - provided that there's still a world to build a company in when this is all done, anyway.
David's constant dives into the deeper parts of the Dark Hour ended up paying off when Jessiah Vice led an expedition into the Forgotten Shore. The sympathetic ties between him and Minato made it possible for Jessie's team to locate Minato and Setsuna.

Mica is actually the one who flagged Jessie in David's direction. Her initial reason for trying to befriend him was to look into him. Love wasn't part of the plan, but it happened anyway.

Gio Malaahas’ twin brother and the direct recipient of the infamous Malaahas Curse due to the fact that he was the one who inherited the snakes that instigated it. Mio is the more outwardly charming one between him and his brother, and also appears to be the one who cares less about the Vigil. His loyalty to his family and friends, however, is unshakeable.
Like his siblings, Mio did not just grow up on stories of the Blade King and Zangyaku - he had personal contact with oni-tsukai, and witnessed, firsthand, the way Hikaru Shinta went to great lengths in order to assist his family and the Maharlika. As such, it isn't just the curse that makes Mio despise the majority of the Methuselah's Hunters. He takes what the Dragon's conspiracy has done to Zangyaku personally.

It did not help, of course, that she Awakened when she was only a year old. Her brothers and her parents, however, were unfazed by the early manifestation of her powers. They also outright refused to bend to pressure coming from distant relatives, malcontents within the Maharlika, and disapproving voices behind the Veil of Metro Manila. As a result, Tia grew up feeling nothing but love from her family. Her support group in them and in close associates of the clan helped her bear up to the scrutiny. Lola Maganda’s intercession proved that they were right in accepting Tia without question. She’s the ray of sunshine in her brother’s lives, and the baby of Wolf’s Choice.
Tia's powers of prophecy and inherent understanding of the ties of fate and time that bound the pieces of the Tapestry together was the guiding force of her blade during their time with the Methuselah. Such visions, however, greatly sap her strength and leave permanent marks on her body. Because of this, Lola Maganda and her brothers have performed a ritual that seals these visions away. Not a single member of Wolf's Choice wants Tia to go back to her prophecies until she's old enough to handle the strain.

Aria spent the entirety of her career with the Methuselah under a ridiculous amount of scrutiny. Her choice to take the Wolf’s Favor for herself and announce her heraldry without hesitation made many within her own conspiracy feel as though they could not trust her. To make matters worse, it was later discovered that she was the reincarnation of Katherine Stiles, a woman who had once been the Blade King’s wife. A lot of Hunters suspect that the main reason why former Kaiser Palomo allowed her to stay was both because of the fact that she was one of Rilea Heartnet’s favored students (by merit of her being born as a Living Land), and because they hoped to use her as a bargaining chip to get to Hikaru, who couldn't help but be drawn to her. Aria ended up thwarting all of their plans by choosing to leave with the rest of her comrades from Wolf’s Choice.
Aria stuck with the Maharlika in order to lend her full support to a compact that meant a lot to the Malaahas Siblings. Whenever she wasn’t on the field, she split her time between volunteering at animal shelters, teaching at Brent, and doing what she could for Zangyaku's operatives in the Philippines. The formation of Netsach, however, has caught her attention. She’s made the pragmatic decision of signing on as an operative of the Dawn, both because the Riley Falner’s vision makes a lot of sense given what’s happening in tonight’s Vigil and because it would be good for Wolf’s Choice to have a foothold in the Daywalker’s conspiracy. At present, however, she's definitely in Netsach because Gio Malaahas has nested the entirety of the Maharlika with the Golden Dawn.

It is said that Aria knew who she really was even before Hikaru figured it out for himself. She was a Gray Piece of the Wolf even before she joined the Methuselah, and was the one who had the most contact with the Blade King during her blade's time with the Dragon's conspiracy. Whenever people try to ask her about this, however, she only smiles and changes the subject.

The meaner, crazier Vega girl, a title that she actually gave to herself without a lick of hesitation. Tala remembers how the Blades of Izanagi saved her and her sister from Cersei, Queen of Winter. The conspiracy that she really wanted to join on the get-go was Zangyaku, as a show of loyalty to the Blade King – Hikaru was the one who ended up dissuading her on the pretense that her home country needed her more. Interestingly enough, the favor that Tala ended up taking for herself was the Swallowtail, for Liandrin Delacroix. It remains her favor to this day, and asking Tala about it doesn’t often yield solid answers.
After she and the rest of Wolf's Choice fled from the Methuselah, Tala reluctantly stayed to help the Maharlika out as one of the compact's operatives. Given the way that they interact, many people get the misconception that Tala and Gio are a thing. Truth be told, while they DID try pursuing a relationship with each other, it was soon evident to them both that they were better off as friends. It probably doesn't help that the Dovetailor very obviously had feelings for Gio, and Gio didn't exactly have a good reason for not acting on his own affection for the psychic.
