THE ROCKIN' ROLLAS One of the finest blades in Anino’s recent history, as their original members were mentored by Aidan Clayce himself. The Voidseeker tried his best to shelter them from his true work, but his charges proved to be too damned stubborn for him. Many of the Rockin' Rollas have left the Methuselah, some by choice and some as a matter of security. Not a single one of them, however, plans on abandoning the Vigil completely. Not when there's so much at stake. The truth of the matter is, the Rockin' Rollas did not come together because of Aidan, but because of their former blade leader Gwen. She was their common ground upon which they built everything else, and the glue that kept them from breaking apart. Her influence has been felt well into the afterlife, as her death on the battlefield brought her boyfriend Drake to her comrades, and - by extension - the Methuselah.

PRIMARY COMPACT/CONSPIRACY: THE MAHARLIKA The famed Pied Piper of Batanes, and the older twin sister of Tala Vega – the two of them became Hunters at the same time, although they ended up in different blades within Anino. Like many other members of the Rockin’ Rollas, Selene left the Methuselah because she feared persecution in the wake of Father Zobel de Ayala’s murder (originally ruled as a suicide). The Maharlika were only too happy to welcome her because she was an incredibly talented Minstrel. Selene mainly stays in Batanes, and plays an active role in keeping unwelcome visitors from reaching the island. Selene is called the Blade Mom of the Rockin' Rollas for a damned good reason. She was able to get through to Father Desmond in ways that many of the others - Henry included - weren't able to. She was also able to help Liana accept the truth behind her parents' death, and shield her blade from a lot of scrutiny when things started taking a turn for the worst. She might not be the second of the Rockin' Rollas, but she's certainly their voice of reason. PLOT POINTS AS OF 29 SEPTEMBER 2016 Going to the Rockin' Rollas while her sister Tala stuck with Wolf's Choice was less a calculated decision and more a case of interesting circumstances that ended up working out in their favor. Having Tala close to Gio meant directly assisting the Malaahas siblings with their investigation. Having Selene with the Rockin' Rollas allowed her to get a better measure of Aidan, the man they all suspected of some sort of foul play.
