THE MIDNIGHT RIDERS, THE WATCHMEN OF THE NIGHT ROADS
While traveling from one place to another has gotten consistently easier over the centuries, one is hard-pressed to say that it’s gotten safer. The open road has always been a dangerous place, especially in countries where long stretches of highway through practically deserted land separate one city from another. Human beings aren’t the only people who are capable of committing horrific crimes, taking advantage of people who have no choice but to be out and about in the middle of nowhere, at ungodly hours.
Enter the Midnight Riders, a conspiracy totally devoted to patrolling the Night Roads – that is, the thoroughfares and open terrain of the world’s different countries, no matter how small they might happen to be. The sharp increase in awakenings of one fashion or another and the burgeoning number of Keepers of the Vigil across the board has not made the world any less dangerous. Most compacts and conspiracies have their hands full with their own matters, and with the political strife that’s tearing most of the Vigil apart. Somebody’s got to keep their eyes on everything and everyone that’s been caught in the crossfire.

DULLAHAN, LIAISON TO ORDO DAYWALKER CHANGING BREED [REYNARDI]
A Dullahan who originally operated in Western Europe with the rest of the Cavallones (her mother’s side of the family), Shane and Calintz Duskrider ordered Cisco to join Vincenzo Profaci at Haven and assist him with maintaining their conspiracy’s homestead at Haven. Cisco’s ties with Ordo Daywalker are a bit of a family legacy: her grandmother Bella – the matriarch of their family – is one of Riley Falner’s trusted aides together with the old man Profaci and some of his vampiric allies. However, since things are getting hot in Southeast Asia, Shane wanted as many Dullahan with a “Filipino” connection as he could on board. As things stand, Cisco would much rather be back in Bacolod, her father’s province. Life is far less interesting there, she claims.
PLOT POINTS AS OF 05 OCTOBER 2016
Pilar Veterano's mother was an old friend of Cisco's, and erstwhile partner on engagements. Cisco is invested in finding out who exactly was responsible for her murder.
Cisco has returned to her manager duties at Haven. The Riders need to maintain a strong presence on Philippine soil; the archipelago is one of the United Vigil's only footholds in Asia.
