Jerry was perfectly prepared to step down as the chief of his station, but Charo was the one who told him that the Methuselah needed him to be there. There is talk of making it a permanent safehouse in Manila for operatives of the Dragon's conspiracy. Now that the Veil has broken, Jerry has been re-assigned from Chief of Police in Kamuning to one of the heads of the force of armed government agents they are planning to put under the Department of Supernatural Affairs.
