Haven has changed so much over the decades that it's a little astounding, even for someone like Hikaru Shinta. The club used to be notoriously hard to get into and next to impossible to find unless you had a lifeline on the inside on purpose. Now, that the cat's out of the bag and the Veil's been broken, however, its doors are open to anyone and everyone.

Granted, that just makes the lines for the new ones and the curious even longer. Good thing he doesn't fall into that category.

He lights up a cigarette, takes a drag, and leans back on the couch that he's sitting on some distance away from the dance floor and tucked close to the quiet end of the bar. It's a busy night, busier than usual, but he doesn't mind. The noise and the ambiance are a welcome change from the many shades of dead and dying that he has to do while he's on Duty. It might be difficult not to notice him, given his looks and the ease in which he carries himself. Granted, he's a known face within the Vigil, and to anybody who keeps their ears to the ground and their eyes to the sky in high society, the corporate world, global politics, and the underworld.
